Aspen Fashion Week, which lasted from March 13-17, displayed the latest collections of chic winter outerwear and skiwear.
According to the official website,
“Designers will present Winter 2011/2012 collections to create a stylish marketplace for buyers, editors, trendsetters and consumers with Aspen Mountain as the backdrop. With daily après ski events and shows at the Snowstage, nightly runway shows in the tented, seated Chateau, on-mountain parties, in-store presentations and after hours rock shows, AFW 2011 will continue to be the hottest fashion, lifestyle and consumer event to hit the Rockies.”
This is the third annual Fashion Week to be held in America’s most stylish ski capital.
Obermeyer pushes the envelope for the 2011-2012 season, unveiling new innovations and a most cohesive and feature-packed collection of outerwear and essentials. The collection the big trends in ski wear for next season, including retro-chic sweaters, color blocking in lightweight shells and vibrant color combination. Showing at Aspen Fashion Week, Obermeyer’s runway show provided full preview of the 2011-2012 line.
